Terms & Conditions
1. Services
Textworks Studio provides translation, editing, proofreading, website copy, brand messaging, marketing transcreation and language consulting services.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All services are provided on a project basis. Pricing, scope of work and delivery times are specified in the relevant quote or written agreement.
3. Payment Terms
Smaller projects may require full payment before work begins. For larger projects, deposits or staged payments may be agreed upon.
Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment period.
4. Delivery Times
Every effort is made to meet agreed deadlines. Unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control may result in reasonable delays.
5. Revisions and Additional Work
Minor revisions within the agreed scope are included. Additional revisions or changes to the original brief may incur additional charges.
6. Cancellation and Project Termination
In the event of cancellation, completed work and expenses already incurred will be invoiced proportionally.
7. Confidentiality
All information and documents received during the course of a project are treated as confidential.
8. Copyright and Usage Rights
Usage rights for the delivered work transfer to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Liability
Textworks Studio works with the utmost care and attention. However, absolute accuracy or specific commercial results cannot be guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence.
10. Force Majeure
Events beyond our reasonable control, including illness, technical failures, power outages or natural events, may result in delays. Such events do not give rise to claims for damages.
11. Right to Decline Projects
Textworks Studio reserves the right to decline enquiries or projects for professional, organisational or ethical reasons.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction shall be France.
13. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these terms become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
